T-Shirts for participants. (Deadline for ensuring you get a t-shirt is October 10th, after that extras will be first come first serve.)

There will be a pre-race guided warm-up.  Right before the race starts - about 8:45 - we’ll have a gathering to get everyone informed about the youth center and motivated!  

After the race please join us for a little after party with food and some family fun activities!

Youth 13 & Under: everyone gets a little something!

COURSE

ROUTE DESCRIPTION

The route starts and ends at the top of the Pinebank Promontory. From there, start out gently downhill toward the pond.  Complete two laps clockwise around the pond.  End on a gentle uphill to arrive back at the Pinebank Promontory finish area.

DIRECTIONS

By T (subway):
Stony Brook T (orange line): approx. 1000m (15-20 min) walk to start area.
Heath St @ S. Huntington Ave (green line, E branch): approx. 1000m (15-20 min) walk to start area.
Brookline village (green line, D branch): approx. 1500m (20-25 min) walk to start area.

By bus:
Take the 39 bus to S. Huntington & Perkins St.  Walk approx. 400m down Perkins St to cross Jamaicaway.

On foot:
The start is easily reached on foot or by bike on the Emerald Necklace bike/footpath. It is a short walk from the road and nearby parking lots.

By road:
To the parking lot at Pond Ave: From route 9, head South on Pond Ave. After approx. 1000m, the parking lot is on the left, by Harry Downes Field.
To the parking lot at Willow Pond Road:  From route 9, head south on Jamaicaway.  Take the first right on Willow Pond Rd.  The parking lot is on the right side, by Daisy Field baseball field.

Street parking:
At Perkins St. along the west side of pond.  Additional parking lots:  Jamaica Pond Parking, Willow Pond Road, Boston MA 02130; and off Pond Ave., Brookline MA 02445.  Both are approx. 200-300m walk from start/finish area.
