ROLLING THUNDER SPRING INVITATIONAL
TO BENEFIT R.T. SPECIAL NEEDS PROGRAM - RAIN OR SHINE
ABOUT:
Rolling Thunder Special Needs Program is one of the first inclusive running clubs in the USA for all athletes. Founded in 1998 by Steve Cuomo, the Rolling Thunder Special Needs Program (RTSNP) is a one of a kind non profit (501c3) organization dedicated to providing challenged individuals with the opportunity to successfully participate in all levels of mainstream running, walking, or wheelchair racing.
We invite you to our Spring Invite on Memorial Day, May 28th 2018 to compete amongst the local elite and challenged individuals. Be inspired!
All events are all inclusive - seeded only by times submitted. ALL ARE WELCOME!

This is a 2018 USATF Sanctioned Event hosted by elitefeats: a Proud, USATF-LI Organizational Member
ORDER OF EVENTS:
- Athletes may only use pyramid spikes no larger 1/4" in length
- High/Triple jumpers & Javelin Throwers may use a 9 mm or shorter spikes
Spikes will be checked by Officials. Spikes not meeting the regulations must be replaced by the athlete.

CASH AWARD TO JUMP + SPRINT OF THE DAY
$250 Awarded to the Male or Female with the BEST jump and sprint of the day. Cash prize goes to one of the qualifying jumps: Triple/Long/High and one of the qualifying sprints: 100M/200M/400M.
Enjoy a True Track & Field Atmosphere! Race & Celebrate others as they compete, too. Join elite sprinters and runners from the 100M to the 3000M; be inspired by challenged athletes as they take on other local talent; exciting Field Events and RaceWalking; Pee Wee runners + More!
There will be a refreshment stand held by Hauppauge High School Students outside of the Field area.
